Uncommon Color Combo 2-Tone All Original Plaskon Addison Radio

Ref: RA568

Rare plaskon Addison Radio 2 'Waterfall' tube radio in white with raspberry (not maroon) trim made circa 1940 by Addison Industries Limited in Canada. Collectors consider this color combination to be a rare find. This stylized Art Deco radio features the famous 'waterfall' speaker grill trim and surround 'bumpers' with speed-lines that really make for a streamlined radio design. If you are looking for a great addition to your collection, please consider this beauty.

This particular example is a stunning radio in excellent original condition with no chips, dings, scratches, or repairs to the cabinet. The raspberry Plaskon trim is complete and factory original to the radio and has no chips, burns or repairs. The original white knobs are also perfect. The fragile plaskon cabinet and trim have a few tiny hairlines that are a common occurrence on Plaskon radios. In no way do these detract from this great radio. The dial plastic is original and in great condition with very little yellowing and clear. Manufactures paper label is still affixed to the bottom of cabinet and original back panel is in place.

Radio measures approximately 10.25" wide x 6" high x 5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
