Beautiful Gilbert Rohde Art Deco clock from the series of clocks introduced at the Chicago World's Fair for Herman Miller. Original silver face with black raised hour markers, black hands, red second hand and a single curved chrome strip wrapping along one side of the clock.
The clock is Number 4084-B in the Herman Miller company literature and was shown in the 1933 and 1937 catalogs and also in the special catalog for the 1934 Chicago World's Fair. Impressed model number 4084-B and original World's Fair factory label is affixed to the rear of clock
Clock keeps perfect time and case has been refinished. Clock measures 8.75" high by 7.5" wide by 2.75" deep. There is no guarantee of accuracy with clock keeping time.
