Early RCA 74B Ribbon Art Deco Microphone
Vintage Art Deco black and chrome edition of the famous RCA Type 74B "Junior Velocity" Microphone first introduced in 1935. This Art Deco bi-directional ribbon microphone is in very clean original condition and is the early version with the two RCA buttons rather than the embossed logo built into the body found on the later models. The microphone has some normal wear/corrosion to the black paint from age. There are no dings on the chrome windscreen and the silk screen is visible. The chrome on the windscreens is in great condition with very little corrosion or pitting. The ball and socket joint which permits rotation or tilting at any angle shows very little signs of vise use and holds the microphone at angle well. This mic would make a nice addition to any microphone or Art Deco collection. The cable on this item has been cut and therefore this vintage microphone is "untested" and is being sold "as-is".

Art Deco Frank Lloyd Wright Johnson Wax Research Building Lighter
Iconic Machine Age Design
1930's Skyscraper Art Deco figural "Johnson's Wax Research Tower" petrol table cigar lighter. The chrome-plated quality lighter is a miniature model of the Racine Wisconsin building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Wright is considered to be one of America's foremost architects. Wright designed this streamline skyscraper building in the 1930's, but Johnson Wax did not build it until the 1940's. The lighter was commissioned by H. J. Johnson, the then President of the company and given to a select number of employees/people in 1947 as a memento. This novelty figural cigar lighter is one of the most important Deco figural desk lighters ever manufactured. The building lighter features a great streamlined cubic ribbed design with red lacquer enamel stripes and circular stepped base. This heavy and well-made lighter is marked "Johnson's Wax Research Tower Racine Wis." on the large fuel screw on the bottom of lighter, which is often missing. The condition is great with only minimal signs of use and chips/wear in the red enamel paint. Most of the time when these lighters are found the bottom red building overhang has been stripped because of paint loss to chrome, this example still retains the original red enamel on this detail. The lighter measures approximately 5.75" Tall x 2.85" across at the base and is in near mint condition.

Art Deco Chrome "Superlectric" Toaster Series 66
Incredible Design with Red Catalin Accent Pieces
The Superlectric model 66 is one of the most uncommon Art Deco chrome and Red Catalin trim Toasters ever manufactured. Made in the 1930's by Superior Electric Product Corp. in St. Louis, MO. This highly stylized Art Deco designed toaster floating on a tubular chrome frame is absolutely stunning. From its speed lines running down each side to it's rounded + tapered edges and 4 bright red Bakelite stacked cylinder handles interspersed with chrome discs. The design is reminiscent of the streamlined locomotives, ocean-liners and automobiles of the 30's. This was definitely a design made for the "kitchens of the future" during this era. Toaster is stamped on the bottom: SUPERLECTRIC MF'D by Superior Elect Prod. Corp., St. Louis, MO. - No 66 Series 3.5 AMP = 110 120 VOLTS AC or DC.

Rare Art Deco Mattatuck "Commander" Type 101 Toaster
Early + rare 1930's chrome 2-slice with black Catalin trim toaster
American made Type 101 "Commander" electric bread toaster in chrome with black Bakelite / Catalin trim. This toaster was made in the early 1930's by the Mattatuck Mfg Company out of Waterbury CT. and is called a Type 101 "Commander" electric toaster. This seldom seen Art Deco toaster has a size and presence not found in the other toasters of this era. The toaster is in original, untouched and complete condition, with very good-looking original chrome and mica elements. Do not miss the opportunity to own this exceptional toaster, as they do not show up for sale often and especially in this great of a condition. This rare toaster serial #11761 is in wonderful original condition for being as old as it is. I have not cleaned the item in any way. The toaster is complete and the heavy chrome is very bright and shiny. As you can see in the pictures, the case of the toaster is just stunning and in great condition with no dents or dings. All it has are some little surface scratches from regular cleaning and light pitting/surface rust on the chrome - see photos. This in no way detracts from the beauty and rarity of this toaster. The toaster is ready to be displayed. The wear it has is consistent with gentle use and age. This toaster is sold "as-is + untested", everything seems complete. Toaster is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
