Intense marbleizing on this seldom seen "End of Day" colored Catalin box. The wonderful, simple + elegant circular design combined with the unusual color make for a great Catalin powder box made in the 1940's. Box has intense colors consisting of orange, red, yellow, white, tortoise, black with translucent amber tones.

Powder box is original and has a beautiful gloss with no cracks, chips or repairs. Retains original brass finial.

Measures approximately:3" wide by 3" high to brass finial.
