Great Set of 4 Small Catalin Speakers - Vibrant Colors

Striking set of 4 Catalin intercom speakers in swirled Azure Blue, solid Bright Red, swirled Golden Yellow and swirled Lettuce Green. These were manufactured in 1944 by Catalin Ltd. at Waltham Abbey, Hertfordshire, Essex, UK. Seldom do you see these being sold as a set and in these vibrant colors of Catalin. These little speakers have copper mesh grills that add to the quality of the build.

The cabinets on each of these are free of cracks, chips, burns or repairs. The marbleized azure blue and marbleized lettuce green example have been cut/polished back to the factory colors and look absolutely vibrant. Each example retains its original speaker inside the cabinet and the cardboard backing. The copper mesh on three of the speakers is an exact replacement for the original. Speakers have small scratches consistent with age + use.

Speakers measures approximately: 5.5" wide by 6" high by 2.5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
