Catalin Art Deco 1938 Emerson AX-235 Radio "Little-Miracle" by Emerson Radio + Television and is Emerson's first example of a small Catalin table radio that also features a unique louvered insert grill. The rare highly marbleized green or "Brazilian Onyx" as Emerson referred to retains the original factory gloss. The green Catalin cabinet is heavily marbleized with tones of green, yellow, clear and brown that add depth to an already beautiful radio. The small size of this radio combined with the great color and contrasting trim really makes for a stunning Art Deco radio.
The cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns, warp or repairs. This models fragile plastic green grill + knobs which are prone to deterioration have been replaced with exact color correct replacements.
Radio measures approximately: 8.75" wide by 5.25" high by 3.75" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
