Catalin FADA 252 "Temple" Radio in Blue + Butterscotch w/ Great Marbling
Stunning + Rare Example of a Blue Highly Swirled FADA Catalin 252 Temple
Ref: RA189
Rare Art Deco Blue with Butterscotch FADA 252 Series "Temple" Catalin radio with incredible marbling. The original green patina on this radio is beautiful - radio has only been lightly polished to a high gloss. The green(blue) colored cabinet has veins of yellow with tones of blue running through it that makes this an incredible example. The 252 Series was part of the 1940-1941 FADA radio lineup. The 252 Series has large gumdrop knobs, different dial glass, 3 grooves that run around the radio + the early style gold/silver grill cloth.
This rare Catalin radio has no cracks, chips, nicks, repairs, or tube burns. Radio has original trim, early gold/silver fabric grill cloth in great condition, original 252 dial glass and Masonite back panel.
This is truly an incredible radio that would make a great addition to any collection.
Radio measures approximately: 10.85" wide by 6.75" high by 5.75" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
