Great Early Wrap-Around FADA L-56 Catalin Radio

Great Catalin FADA L-56 in maroon/plum with butterscotch wrap-around grille and knobs. This Art Deco Catalin model made in 1939 by FADA Radio + Electric Company has a beautiful design and size.  This maroon + butterscotch Catalin example is all original and in great condition with a beautiful glossy finish.

All trim is original to radio and in perfect condition.  Catalin cabinet has 1 tiny chip at the cardboard back retaining screw hole. This in no way deters from the rarity and beauty of this Art Deco radio.  Cabinet has no cracks, or repairs.  Radio retains the gold bottom label with the original handwritten "MA" Maroon/Alabaster color code.

Radio measures approximately: 9" wide by 5.5" high by 4" deep.  This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
