Stunning FADA L-56 catalin radio in marbleized yellow with bright red wrap-around grill. This Art Deco catalin model made in 1939 by FADA Radio + Electric Company has a beautiful design and size. This seldom seen red insert grill with a yellow cabinet is a beautiful example with beautiful marbleizing. The catalin cabinet retains the factory gloss, the red trim adds contrast and style to this stunning example. This is a great example of an all-original early FADA.

The glossy yellow catalin cabinet, handle and knobs are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or repairs; cabinet has a mild tube burn as seen, happens often to this model. The original bright red marbleized grill has no cracks, chips or repairs. The beautiful graphic dial is bright and in great condition. The dial plastic + water-slide decal are correct replacements. Radio has small scratches consistent with age + use of set. This radio is as clean as one can be found and would truly make a great addition to any radio or Deco collection.

Radio measures approximately: 9" wide by 5.5" high by 4" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
