Stunning + Rare Color Combo of a Seldom Seen Model DeWald Radio

DeWald 561-2 "Jewel or Outline-Grill" Catalin Radio in rare onyx with butterscotch trim. The onyx green Catalin has a deep shine + original factory gloss, rich color and glow, which, is highlighted with the yellow trim. The trim is all-original with no cracks, or repairs + has taken on a beautiful butterscotch patina. One of only 3 Catalin radios ever manufactured by DeWald + made in 1939.

Radio cabinet has no cracks, chips, hairlines, tube burns or repairs. Grill cloth is original to the radio.  Dial water-slide DeWald decal is a replacement. Radio and trim have small scratches consistent with careful use + age.  This great radio would make a great addition to any radio or Art Deco collection.

Radio measures: 9.5" wide x 6.25" high x 6" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
