Great Small Catalin Emerson 564 with Intense Marbleizing

Ref: RA445

Striking + incredibly marbleized oxblood red Catalin Emerson model 564 'Slot-Grill'. This radio is a magnificent Art Deco radio that features and vertical slide rule dial + a series of symmetrical grill cut-outs.  Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corp, out of New York, manufactured this small Catalin radio in 1940.

The Catalin has a deep shine, rich color + glow combined with exceptionally striking colorful yellow and orange marbleizing that looks like veins of fire running through the cabinet.  The radio is in original, untouched condition, and is just a stunning example of this Emerson model.

This beautiful set is in great condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. The radio retains its original reverse painted dial plastic also in excellent condition and the bright gold textured grill cloth in excellent condition.

This radio measures approximately:  7" wide by 5.12" high by 3.75" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete.  Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician
