Striking lapis lazuli blue marbleized 'Big Miracle' Emerson BM-258 Catalin radio with ivory trim. Made by Emerson Radio + Television in 1938 the Big Miracle is a slightly larger version of the Little Miracle. The blue cabinet has intense white and blue marbleizing that really adds depth to the cabinet. The bright blue color is brought out with its contrasting ivory louvered grill + knobs. This original seldom seen radio is just a great example of this Emerson 'Big Miracle' model.

Radio cabinet has been polished back to the original lapis lazuli blue from an oxidized green + has an incredible gloss. Radio cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. Radio retains the color coordinated bottom cardboard panel that is not often present. This models fragile plastic grill and knobs, which are prone to deterioration, have been replaced with correct replacements. Water-slide decal and dial plastic are correct replacements. Has small scratches consistent with age and use.

Radio measures approximately: 9.75" wide by 7.25" high by 5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
