Emerson BM-258 radio known as the 'Big Miracle' in seldom seen yellow with brown marbleizing and maroon trim. Made by Emerson Radio + Television in 1938 the Big Miracle is a slightly larger version of the Little Miracle. The cabinet is a beautiful butterscotch yellow with brown marbleizing that adds depth to an already beautiful radio and is highlighted by the contrasting maroon trim. The yellow with brown swirl cabinet is not found as often as the standard yellow. The radio is in original, untouched condition, and is just a great example of this Emerson 'Big Miracle' model.

The cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. This models fragile maroon plastic grill + knobs which, are prone to deterioration, are original + good condition showing some mild warp and wear on the grill.  Radio retains the color coordinated back panel and the bottom cardboard panel that are often not present.  Dial plastic and decal are correct replacements. Radio has been well taken care of and only shows some fine scratches consistent with age + careful use.

Radio measures approximately: 9.75" wide by 7.25" high by 5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
