Untouched FADA 'Bullet' Radio Catalin Streamliner Model 1000 in translucent Caramel Onyx Green with Yellow Trim. This radio styling epitomizes 1940's Streamline design with its sleek rounded lines that suggest speed and practicality, hallmarks of streamlined industrial design from those years. FADA produced many radios and televisions over the years, but its Catalin radios, particularly the 'Bullet' are the best-known models.

The warm onyx green patina on the cabinet is highlighted by faint brownish-orange, clear + yellow marbleizing and a beautiful transparency. This onyx  FADA 1000 has no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. The yellow catalin dial ring, fluted knobs and handle are original + correct to the radio and also in great condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. The beautiful Art Deco gold "Gemloid" dial face is bright and has no paint wear. Radio retains the original early style gold fabric grill cloth and partial back panel. Dial plastic cover is a correct replacement.

This radio is as clean as one can be found and would truly make a great addition to any radio or Deco collection.

Radio measures approximately: 10.25" Wide by 5.5" Deep by 6.5" High. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
