FADA 1000  'Bullet' Catalin Streamliner in yellow with onyx/pea-green marbleized catalin trim. This radio styling epitomizes 1940’s Streamline design. Its sleek, rounded lines suggest speed and practicality, hallmarks of streamlined industrial design from those years. FADA produced many radios and televisions over the years, but its Catalin radios, particularly the "Bullet" are the best-known models.

The Catalin cabinet has taken on a beautiful yellow/butterscotch patina. The onyx trim adds contrast and style to this stunning example of a Machine Age FADA Bullet model.

The cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, repairs, tube burns. The onyx/pea-green Catalin dial ring, fluted knobs and handle are original FADA trim pieces in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, burns or repairs. The beautiful Art Deco 'Gemloid' dial face is has no paint wear and only a slight warp. Radio retains the original cardboard back panel and gold grill cloth in great. The dial plastic cover is a correct replacement.

Radio measures approximately: 10.25" wide by 6.25" high by 5.5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested". Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
