Beautiful FADA 1000 'Bullet' Catalin Radio with rare insert grill in maroon with yellow trim. The catalin cabinet cabinet displays a rich, warm butterscotch patina that only 70 years can achieve. The original yellow trim adds contrast and style to this stunning example of a FADA Bullet model. his radio styling epitomizes 1940's Streamline design with its sleek rounded lines that suggest speed and practicality, hallmarks of streamlined industrial design from those years. FADA produced many radios and televisions over the years, but its Catalin radios, particularly the 'Bullet' are the best-known models.

The Catalin cabinet retains the factory gloss, the butterscotch trim adds contrast and style to this stunning example of a FADA Bullet Streamliner model. The maroon catalin cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, breaks, or repairs. Radio has small scratches consistent with age + use of set. The yellow catalin insert grill, dial bezel, fluted knobs and handle are original + correct to the radio, they are also in great condition with no cracks, chips, breaks or repairs. The Art Deco gold "'Gemloid' dial face is bright and in great condition. Radio retains the original back panel. Clear dial plastic cover is a correct replacement. Radio has been well taken care of and only shows some fine scratches consistent with age + careful use.

Radio measures approximately: 10.25" wide by 6.25" high by 5.5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
