Beautiful Fada 711 "Dip-Top" Catalin radio in a desirable onyx/pea-green with ivory trim. The 711 is the last of the Catalin models made by Fada Radio in 1946. The perfect Catalin case has great translucence and marbleizing.
This set has no chips, cracks, tube burns or repairs to the Catalin case or plastic trim. The Catalin case has great translucence and marbleizing. The Catalin cabinet has taken on a beautiful and even patina after having been polished by Decophobia back to the original onyx color about 5 years ago. The ivory marbled knobs + handle are original and the bright and colorful Fada sunburst dial face is also in excellent original condition. Radio retains original manufactures label on bottom, dial plastic, flocked grill, and masonite back panel.
Radio measures approximately: 9.75" wide x 5.75" high x 4.5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
