General Electric Co. only manufactured two Catalin radio models the early 1940s. The series L-570 which was available in 6 color combinations, which, had different model numbers based on color starting wth the L-570. Model L-622 "Jewel Box" Catalin model was available only in translucent tortoise with yellow knobs. This radio with it's hinged lid resembles a jewelery box.
