Beautiful Yellow Marbleized Catalin 1937 Emerson AU-190 Radio

Bright Highly marbleized Catalin AU-190 Emerson radio from 1937 in a Light Yellow cabinet or Natural Onyx as referred to by Emerson. The light yellow Catalin cabinet is beautifully marbleized with tones of yellow + clear that add depth to an already beautiful radio. This is just a great example of the Emerson 'Tombstone' model. 

Radio cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. The 3 catalin knobs are perfect and original to the radio. The Catalin cabinet has taken on a beautiful and light/medium yellow patina after having been polished back to the original alabaster color about 11 years ago. Gold Gemloid dial is bright and and in great condition with only some small signs of age. Water-slide decal, dial plastic , back panel and gold fabric grill cloth are correct replacements. Radio has small scratches consistent with age + use of set. This radio is absolutely stunning and would make a fantastic addition to a collection.

Radio measures approximately: 7" wide by 10" high by 5" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician prior to use.
