The faintly swirled wide fluted red catalin case is highlighted by the onyx green front and rear surround. Held at a slight inclination with two brass ball feet.  These New Haven clocks were marketed as "Catalin Clocks in Smart New Designs" as seen in the attached advertisement. This is a seldom seen Art Deco Catalin Bakelite New Haven desk clock from the 1930's. These little catalin clocks look great as a collection as seen in the last photo. Rare Deco laminated 3-color catalin bakelite clock-lighter combination. It's not often that you see a catalin clock in marbleized emerald green, red, and swirled yellow. It is unknown as to who made this as it has no markings that could be found.  The clock's vertical design with graceful shoulders is highlighted by the bright emerald green, red and swirled yellow base to make for a strikingly designed clock.  The chromed oval base lighter insert sits securely in the top of case.  These little catalin clocks look great as a collection as seen in the last photo. Great Art Deco 1930's small barrel shaped laminated Catalin marbleized in a bright butterscotch and red New Haven wind-up desk clock. This little blemish can hardly be seen and does not detract from this rare and beautiful little Bakelite clock.
