Marbleized and Translucent Brazilian Green Onyx RCA Catalin 9TX5 'Little Nipper II' Radio. This Art Deco model is unusual with its grooves that wrap-around cabinet. The Brazilian Green Onyx catalin cabinet is heavily marbleized with tones of green, yellow, brown and clear that add depth to the catalin cabinet. The design of this model has been attributed to industrial designer John Vassos one of the designers for RCA. The small size of this radio combined with the great design, color and contrasting trim really makes for a stunning Art Deco radio.

Radio cabinet has been hand polished and has an incredible gloss to it. Cabinet is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips, tube burns or repairs. Ivory Plaskons knobs are original to the radio. Water-slide RCA decal is a correct replacement. This is a crisp example that was well taken care of and it would make a great addition to any radio or Art Deco collection.

Radio measures approximately: 8.5" wide by 5.25" high by 4" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete. Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
