Catalin Sentinel model 177U radio in a beautiful + incredibly marbleized sand colored case with yellow trim. This radios design with its wrap around grill, dial surround + cabinet etchings is a magnificent, exquisitely crafted Art Deco radio.  Manufactured in 1939 by Sentinel Radio Corporation, out of Illinois.  This model is seldom seen and came in three-color combinations.

The Catalin has a deep shine, rich color and glow and also has exceptionally striking yellow, orange + brown colorful marbleizing.  The radio is in original, untouched condition, and is just a stunning example of this Sentinel model.

This beautiful set is in in great condition with no chips, tube burns or repairs.  The yellow grill and gumdrop knobs are original to the radio. Radio retains the original dial plastic. This is truly a remarkable radio in excellent condition.

This radio measures approximately:  10.25" wide by 6.75" high by 5.25" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete.  Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
