Sentinel 195ULTA 'Push-Button' Catalin Radio in Pistachio with Tortoise

Sentinel 195U / 195ULTA catalin radio in a beautiful + highly marbleized pistachio/light green colored case with translucent tortoise trim. This radios design with its wrap around grill, asymmetrical design with stepped top + push-buttons is a magnificent, exquisitely crafted Art Deco radio.  Manufactured in 1939 by Sentinel Radio Corporation, out of Illinois.  This model is seldom seen in perfect condition such as this one. The catalin has a deep shine, rich color and glow and also has exceptionally striking clear, yellow , orange + red marbleizing.

The glossy catalin pistachio cabinet has beautiful marbleizing that really adds depth to the cabinet. The cabinet has no cracks, chips, nicks, tube burns or repairs. The transulcent catalin grill + knobs are original to the radio and in perfect condition as are the push-buttons. The radio is a stunning example of this Sentinel model that is seldom seen in perfect condition as they are prone to damage.  Dial plastic cover is a correct replacement.

This radio measures approximately:  10.25" wide by 6.75" high by 5.25" deep. This set is sold "as-is + untested", the chassis seems complete.  Set is being sold as a "non-working" vintage electronic device that should be gone over by a qualified technician.
