William Archibald Welden
William Archibald Welden was Director of Design for the Revere Copper and Brass Company in Rome, NY during the 1930s. His designs for Revere are first seen in 1937. Among his more famous designs were two outstanding Art Deco cocktail shakers, the Empire and the Zephyr with matching cups, which could be paired up with existing serving trays. The sets were made of chrome plated brass with either red, yellow or green Bakelite accents.
